432 impressions today and 0 clicks.. Is there somthing that i might be doing wrong? That cant be right.. im not against widgetbucks at all i just dont understand why i never get any clicks at all from there.. Could it be because part of my traffic comes from other countrys? Or mabye they dont count clicks cause its a subdomain.. i dunno thats the only 2 reasons i can think cause everything else is normal and i dont have any prob with other ppc ads.. Im going to email them now also and see what kind of answer i get.. Any help or advice from you guys would be much apreciated..
The only ad network on the internet that can bring you some pennies with that ridiculous amount of impressions is adsense. Sorry dude, but in order to make money (with WB or any other ad program) you need to get some serious traffic. How many unique you get daily?, 500?, do you think that WB or any other network will make you millonarie overnight?. Start talking once you are above 5000 unique and we'll see if WB brings you money or not. Besides, how many cents you earn daily with adsense?, 0.7 cents?, 1 dollar?.
Think about it...Widgetbucks ads are shopping ads...period. They are always selling something, and the ads are informative...there are price comparisons, etc. However Adsense ads are informative. Visitors can click a Google ad and actually get information rather than an expectation to buy something. There are shopping ads with Adsense, but it's not EVERY ad. Not to mention the content ads from Adsense are a little more attentive to page content. For example, the name of my site is WeblogBlender. With Widgetbucks, I get a bunch of ads for blenders, food processors, etc. With Adsense, I actually get ads that pertain to blogging...the way they are supposed to. I've read a lot about the problems that people are having with Adsense and all that jazz...all I can say is research people and try different things to find what pays the best.
Where are you getting your traffic from, what other goodies are on your site that distract visitors, where did you place the widget, what kind of site is it, what size widget are you using ? There's lots of reasons why you may not be getting clicks. That's garbage, I only get 1000 uniques or impressions daily, I am on $28 cpm (before orditing and reductions).

(something must be wrong) I cant validate moveing their ad to one of my higher traffic sites.. cause already im making good on them with adsense i just wanted a back up or another ppc in adition to adsense and tried widgetbucks but even with that many impressions surely id have got one click dont you think.. And ive got a large banner at mid top center its in a good place it should ahve brought at least a few clicks i know..there has to be other issues at play here.. All their ads are ppc? or mabye im getting ppa ads and thats why? Anyway ill wait for their support to email me back.. (im really wanting wb to do good and work properly for me) now 610 and 0 clicks.. see my point? lol mabye ill ask a friend to click just for test..
Its a chat site.. i thought that too so i put it to the thing where it crawls your site.. And i have irc trivia games and im seeing an widgetbucks xbox ad on it now.. so thats kinda relevant.. this is the site http://kewlchat.ulmb.com/ its not very professional looking i know but its basicly a test site.. but with that many impressions and you see where the ad is.. dont you think i should be showing at least 1 click in my widgetbuccks stats? I wish they would email me back soon.
that's about right...WB has a very, very low CTR, at least from my experience. Adsense performs so much better for me.
Hmm ok my messenger friend said she just clicked the ad (out of general interest) So i should soon know if its going to be counted or not.. how long after some one clicks it does it take for the click to show up on the myWidgets.page ? If it shows up i wont be as worried.. but if it dont and i dont hear anyhting back from wb support in 3 days then im going to reavaluate this whole deal.. Im hopeing it does cause others do well i just hope its nuhting wrong with my account and i just dont know it yet..
Ok this is bull sh** my impressions went up but its not showing anything in my wb account except more impressons and 0 clicks and 100% the girl clicked it and also shes in usa.. so obviously they not counting any of my freaking clicks
Actually its not only the traffic , I have a blog which has 150-200 uniques per day and I'm making 2-4$ Just try to find a good niche (health , investments) , make some research and add some ads related to your niche and you will have much more then you think !!!
Thanks for the reply olgi but im getting relevent ads just no clicks being counted.. and lol thsadmin I asked her if she had general intrest to and then let me know so technecly......... lol But anyway it may work good for others but its not working at all for me so il move on to something else.. Thanks for your advice everyone.. unless their support emails me back with some solid answer then im out of it.. but if they do ill post back on here to let everyone know what the issue was.. Peronaly i feel cheated no wonder they can give away 25$ each tiem they dont count some little folks for their clicks..

Yea seems your right markn26 ill chalk it all up to just low ctr.. I think ive just been spoiled by adsense cause i get about 1 click out of very 10 hits with them clicks with them.. I expected the same.. but ill keep my account with wb.. mabye if they had text links ads it might be more better..
Unless you have a related shopping niche website widgetbucks will give a low ctr i would guess somewhere in the range of 0.2-1.0% If your site is shopping website and you pick the right widgetbucks category your ctr will be a lot lot higher The site you displayed is a chat site not a shopping niche site so the widgetbucks ads are not and will never be niche relevant! You also have a lot of ads paypopup + affiliate + adsense etc...maybe your visitors are ad blind to the toy tractors that are currently being displayed? My advice is to select a category (DO NOT USE THE AUTO CAT OPTION) that all of your chat visitors are interested in ....try....-> computers / laptops Expensive products will pay more on your low ctr site....Electronic Christmas presents anyone? etc When i visited your site it was showing toy tractors? Your placement is quite bad ,as well as format you use. But you can use 160*600 - left navigation.below download Below you headline : Free msn chat rooms.... You should have an table with 300*250 ads left,and some text right. Use mercsense ,it have many better ctr than category selectiog for me. Do this you will have atleast 20 click from that traffic
