Do MySpace sites do well with Adsense?

I am curious if myspace layout/graphic sites do well with adsense? Is it worth a shot?

Also, on a side note.. wouldn't myspace layout websites require an insane amount of bandwidth?? If you have a myspace site, what host do you use?

They must, how else would they keep going...Probably not the best ppc for keywords though.

you'll get a lot of clicks with adsense on a myspace site but probably average around $0.05/click in revenue.

no you don't make meaningful $ from page impressions via adsense....put in Valueclick ads for that purpose.

 

If you can find a right CPM company yes, Valueclick is good.

You need to have good ad placement.

It depends on the ad placement like I said. If you have the right ad placement you can earn like 25 cents per click.

 

Still, I got a proxy site from SteveAR before and the lowest I got was .40 per click, which I considered pretty low, but people may think of .25 as high for myspace sites...

 

It all depends upon the ad placement and traffic. Normally MySpace sites with high traffic earn a lot of revenue.

 

I get headaches when I go onto Mypace resource sites. litterlay.
The whole myspace resource scene is clogged with spam sites and Ripp offs.

for the starter for myspace graphic site, to overcome the bandwidth problem, your can host your image on imageshack.us or photobucket then when u can fund your own big bandwidth site, u can always host image on your server, its work for me.

 

I don`t know much about this stuff really but for eye appeal, it blended well. The majority of clicks were .60-.70 per click and up to $3.00 per click (not being a rare click, but a few did occur).

 

Don't be cheap; get your own dedicated server - and promote from there.

 

Well, I'd like mine to be clean looking and easy to navigate with lots of unique content. I am a graphic designer and I can make all the layouts and graphics myself.

 

Then you'll do just fine. You just need to market your myspace site - and you'll become a rich myspace webmaster in the future.

 

you will only make good money with myspace resource site if you have insane amount of traffic. most myspace users are familiar with adsense ads (thanks to all the MS resource sites out there with adsense on them) and know not to click on them. but few people are making crazy money tho. there was a thread here few days ago about a site that is owned by a 17 year old highschool dropput who makes 75k per month from adsense with her MS resource site. forgot her name and her site but i'm sure someone here must remember

 

Short answer is they do make money, but the niche is very very clogged now because everyone kind of jumped on the bandwagon after they heard people make money off them. If you want to get into it, be prepared to work rather hard to get some money out of it.
