I posted an AdSense screenshot right there in the thread? Is it not visible to you guys? I did paste it from Gmail, so maybe it only shows for me? I see it fine. Yes, the site makes $150 a month +$50 per month via link sales.

The forum has not been too active recently as far as posting goes, hence the reason for the sale, just no time for it. Forums do require attention, or at least a few mods keeping it up. However the visitors are still there and the revenue, so if you have any experience running a forum and can get it active again you will be in a great position to increase revenue.

Also, the comment about the pageviews and revenue...I have no idea what you are talking about, the site gets 40,000 not 4,000 so this is actually low income for the amount of PV. I have seen much much higher, and with the CTR being as low as it is, it only gives the site more room for growth with a better layout and ad placement.

Your not showing stats for just the Isle of Wight forum, but a total. Channel only stats, please for revenues, as for all we know your total adsense is for all the sites networked at the footer of the site.

Well, here's the thing. I am the broker handling the sale of this site, but I do not own the site myself. The owner wants to remain out of this so I am selling sites for them (some others on here as well) for a percentage since I have experience buying and selling and they don't/don't want to be bothered. I would not risk my reputation on DP by making up or falsifying sales information, especially not for another person and for a small percent.

I know what you all are saying about the adsense screenshot and I already addressed this with them, but they said they don't want to give out too much personal info (they are new to this and don't understand that you can get a specific channel stats and show the domain without any other info). THIS IS the real adsense revenue however. I am sure of that. I just emailed the owner to send me some better AdSense screenshots and I will post them for you all as soon as I get them.

I want to really stress this point: Everything in this thread is 100% real, this is what the site makes along with the paid links. The price is VERY low for this and if it were mine I would be asking much more than what they are. Again, I am the broker on this so I am just following instructions.

If I were any of you I would be bidding on this because anytime you can get a 2+ year old site making $200 a month for around 1k you are getting a hell of a deal. Also, keep in mind that this forum is not nearly as active as it was or could be and is still earning this. Imagine what it could do with a little attention. Seriously.

 

would the owner consider selling just the vb license without the forum and url- this just seems kinda pricey for a forum with really no visitors- if your owner is interested in selling the license only please PM me

 

Nitestalker, obviously they are not interested in selling the VB license considering that I specifically stated that the license was not even included in the sale. Thanks for reading the thread. Also, thanks for your comments about the forum activity. This site's scope is obviously missing some people.
