$10,000 a day from Google Base

Not sure if its any help but i tried to use the bulk upload for a puchair/prams site i was promoting. Basically when you use the bulk upload you have to register what domain you use, then when it asks for the name of the file put in the exact name of the text file that you use to upload. Then if you use any links or image links they have to be from that domain you registered. Dont know why it has to be so akward to get it to work, but i got there eventually.

There is prob an easier way to do it but i just did it through trial and error

 

hahahhaha... i can't believe so many of you fall for that guy.. Do you truly believe he is telling the truth? Shoemoney, ever consider the possibility that he might lie to you? I have seen people make up really complex stories just to brag and be appreciated or fit in.


1) Ask for some proof.
2) The guy may be making 10$ a day, and said 10k to brag to his friend, perhaps he's heard of his friends success in blogs or whatever.

I seriously do not believe he's making that much money, he's exaggerating. Google Base came out about 1 month ago i think, do you really believe there is enough people there to search that stuff? If some guy wants porn they will google search it, and that's all they EVER do. Nobody is going to go around in a website called google base, and actually find out what it is, and then look for porn in it.

I knew it existed, and i just looked at it, i still don't understand what google base is and its purpose.

You would be amazed at how many times sex is searched for online.

At my last company there was a guy that had an empire of TGP sites. Each was getting something like 10k uniques/day. He had something like 40 of them running, so he had 400k uniques/day. Now assume a 0.1% conversion (that's 1/1000, which is apparently average for porn). That's 400 signups/day just to friendfinder...it's just obscene.

He had his own dedicated account rep from friend finder because he cleared so much.

He showed me how to do it, but it takes alot of time and effort (those 40 sites took him over 2 years to build up). I've thought about doing it when I have more time, but it really is the dark side of the net. You can't do SEO for porn sites, it's virtually impossible. So you have to learn how it works and get a brand new skillset to attack it.

You also need to have a really good dedicated server to handle the load. My server right now runs at like 80% capacity, it might be able to handle 3-5 porn sites if I'm lucky lol. So right off that bat you're looking at $300/month just for hosting costs, plus design/content, and then you have to do the traffic deals. Crazy costs. My friend said that to do it today would probably cost you upwards of $5000 to realize any real profit out of it.

 

People barely know what google base is. They won't search for porn there when they can search it in google, yahoo, or msn. Or perhaps video.google.com.
but base.google.com? why would anyone do that? That would be a very small number of people crazy enough to do that.
That's like saying someone will come on to my design site and search for porn using my site search.

 

Well I tried it out for the hell of it. I posted 15 profiles. I got maybe unique 150 hits over the weekend. My overall reveue from the test so far is = $0.01 cent. Yes, a penny.

Not worth it IMO...and it is exhausting making those profiles.

I made 10 FriendFinder and 5 AdultFriendFinder profiles.
I chose option 1 for both...the one that pays $1 per free membership sign up.
Although, I didn't get a dollar. I got a penny.

 

lol i wouldn't know, i still dont understand what google base is for. Since it lacks the logic to actually explain what it does in the first page.

 

Well ill probably get bad rep for it, but i decided to try posting a profile. I made $6 in the frist coupld of hours, then by the end of the night it was 9$ this morning it has dropped to $6. Its because adultfriendfinder looks at the quality of referals, they want 1 in 25 referls to sign up for a free account and 1 in 25 free accounts to sign up for a paid account. I figure adultfriendfinder have probably clocked onto google base and are stopping it.
Dont think ill bother doing any more profiles, i tried it out of curiosity( and greed yes) but id sooner focus on building proper sights and actually earning my money rather than scamming people for it

$9 bucks from 1 profile. Damn, that's better from the 15 profiles I posted and the solitary penny that I made. At Adult Friend Finder, they have 3 options to use as your way of making money. Might I ask which option did you use?

I think you're right, onedollar. Something that pays $10,000 a day isn't going to last...especially when there are now blogs all over the Internet talking about it.

 

I havent actually tried this at all. I dont have the resources to do it like this guy has.

Hell yeah Digg can send some traffic... my last post has over 1300 diggs and has been top 3 all day. Funny that your box took it hard... I'm on a Godaddy shared hosting plan for $4/month and didn't feel a thing. lol
