A poll is not really needed, all you have to do is ask anyone you know how they feel and you will get the answer. Things right now are bad!

I wonder how accurate this is...

It looks like a somewhat steady increase during the Clinton years, and a steady decline during the Bush years... Interesting...

I'm discontented with all the whiny liberals who seek to tear our country apart.

There seems to be more and more of those lately...how many of them made the promise to leave if Bush was re-elected, and then didn't?

The most recent Washington Post/NBC (or ABC) poll had very similar results.

Of interest those who indicated they were independant were similarly overwhelmingly unhappy with the direction of the government. Cripes even large amounts of those who identified themselves as Republicans were considerably unhappy.

While most (not all) of the people running in the Primaries have been aiming their talks to the far right (Republicans) or far left (Democrats) to further their efforts within the primaries two candidates really haven't been doing that.

Ron Paul is essentially running as a very independant voice within the Republican primaries.

Hillary Clinton, with a large lead, has already been aiming her comments at the middle.

I would like to know who they poll....pretty much any poll is biased anyway, no matter what side of the fence it is on.

Polls are from small samples of people. Well established polls utilize reasonable standards.

Any one poll can be off. When many polls essentially find very similar results than it dramatically adds to their believability.

The overwhelming indication from a lot of recent polls is that the public is very unhappy with the administration.

The public usually is when a president is about to go out of office....but how about that congress that can't seem to get anything done but pass non-binding resolutions?

At the end of 8 years the public is usually unhappy with the president. Negative polls on Bush are quite high though relative to some other long term recent presidents such as Reagon and Clinton.

voter unhappiness with congress is normally quite high. The recent polls that go into depth find greater unhappiness with the republican members than the democratic members.

That's not saying much....voter unhappiness with congress is very high.

The wierd thing about polls about congress is that no matter how unhappy voters are with the institution incumbents are incredibly favored and have a huge advantage in running for office every 2 years or 6 years.
