Maybe in a few thousand years they will know, maybe there NEVER was nothing, maybe ALIENS are our creator. So many theories and you choose the almighty invisible guy.

Know he chose me. And i have witnessed first hand his existence, im sorry you haven't, but if you did, you would feel the same way i do. The bible as i have pointed out before has the creation in quite a bit of detail. The bible was written thousands of years ago, yet it is scientifically accurate.

Please read this, it is not very long but it explains how science eventually will agree with the bible. http://www.absolutetruth.net/bible/page14.html

Although radiometric dating methods seem to show a trend of great age, these methods depend upon numerous other assumptions. When used to date events of known age, such as lava flow in Hawaii or the Grand Canyon, they have been wrong by orders of magnitude. How can we be sure they are accurate for events of unknown age? Furthermore, the vast majority of dating method indicate a very young earth.

Radiometric dating is pretty solid but either way 30,000 is not even a conservative figure. Look at fossil fuels, they form over millions of years and there are many things found that have been carbon-dated to be millions of years old.

What makes you think that God can't make an earth that seems old when he made it?

I'm pretty sure it wasn't just a ball of dirt.

Maybe they were doing tests to isolate certain variables which would alter their results, I doubt the people doing these tests thought the earth was 6000 years old.

I think in this case you're really wrong. You reming me of King Julian from the movie Madagascar: "No matter. I don't care." I suppose as long as it makes sense to you that's all that matters GRIM.

Are you happy now because you proved me wrong? Are you clapping your hands with joy? Ready to go hoping through the meadow???

This kind of nonsense which you post is what puzzles me. Instead of logically disproving what you may perceive as being wrong you come up with stuff such as: "your argument isn't even laughable, it's that far out of touch from reality."

Of course when I asked if you are happy that you proved me wrong I was being sarcastic. so let me add that sarcastic icon so you know I wasn't serios.

Check this out and notice the majority, not that it be Christian, but that God exists http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=23825

Makes perfect sense.. A poll on DP shows that non-believers make up 13%, So christianity must be right....

by the way sb1234, let me see if i can find a poll from 1500 years ago, You may be surprised to find out that the earth is actually flat. Evidence? don't worry about that, We have somehting better than evidence, It's the opinion of the misinformed and ignorant, So it must be true!

LOL proteindude, firstly stox is right its to do with the population being mostly christian in the US! but also the site is atheists.org, the greater results for jesus are nothing to be proud of, if anything it shows how much MORE corrupt christianity is.

Also sb1234, i don't mean to bash the bible, but you shouldn't take anything numerical, literally in the bible, i didn't even know it made such a claim about the earth.

    2 Samuel 8:4 and 1 Chronicles 18:4 - 700 or 7000 horsemen?
    2 Samuel 10:18 and 1 Chronicles 19:18 - 700 or 7000 charioteers? 40,000
    2 Samuel 24:9 and 1 Chronicles 21:5 - 800,000 or 100,000?
    2 Samuel 24:13 and 1 Chronicles 21:11-12 - 7 or 3 years?
    1 Kings 4:26 and 2 Chronicles 9:25 - 40,000 or 4,000 stalls?
    1 Kings 5:15-16 and 2 Chronicles 2:2 - 3300 or 3600?
    1 Kings 7:26 and 2 Chronicles 4:5 - 2000 or 3000 baths?
    2 Kings 8:26 and 2 Chronicles 22:2 - 22 or 42 years old?
    2 Kings 24:8 and 2 Chronicles 36:9 - 18 or 8 years old? 3 months or 3 months and 10 days?
    Ezra 2:65 and Nehemiah 7:67 - 200 or 245 singers?

Wow!!! Why didn't I think of it? Atheists Inc have made it their aim to disprove "religion". Seems to me the one they have the biggest issue with is the Christian faith not some obscure religion and I don't mean to bash your religion.

Say if something bugs me a lot and something bugs me not as much. Which of the two do you think I would give MORE attention to? I remember growing up in a communist country and as you know communism is based on atheism. Anyway, in grade 5 during hystory classes we had this thing about "this is the year when Christians consider as the year that Jesus was born in." I am telling you in all sincerity: we learned nothing about any other religious figure and I never again heard about Jesus either. So even under communism Jesus was mentioned. Mohammed??? Nope. I can't say I ever heard anything mentioned about him during my school years.
