How much Google keep himself from money that we earn as publisher on google adsense?

So, for examples advertiser pay 100%, google give me x%, in this case google earning is (100-x)%.

My opinion it must be something 50-65% :)

BTW, i'm going to start collaboration with another ADV broker (as google adsesne), who is going to give me 42% from 100% (15% - to cover ad serving and general operations, and after this 50/50 split).

so .. any opinion, any facts :=)

No one knows this answer except for Google, but my guess is we get 20% of the cut.

I've heard google keeps about 40% which sounds a fair estimate to me.

New York Times (I think) or the Washington post claimed 0.27 on the dollar.

thats the craziest assumption ive heard.

I don't know how they keep less than 50%. There is no way we are making more than google on ads.

I'm guessing 60/40 or so being that Google takes 60.

Yep. Whatever it is, I'm sure to have billions in revenue you are making more than the publisher. Just my opinion though, and I have had stupid/incorrect ones in the past.

Google returns the money to the advertiser if a publisher is banned. That is what they tell and I don't think they need the money from banned publishers.

as far as i remember - about a year ago or longer back someone from DP forum participating in adwords AND adsense ( paying and earning for/from his own site ) mentioned some 50:50
    sounds reasonable
G has 50 and gives away comision such as our referrel 250$ and % for ad sales reps ...
we publisher too have 50 and have to pay for our part of external overhead expenses.

if you really want to know do it as above

    setup ONE channel
make sure only you advertise on your own page
have an accurate ad-server to see who/how/when is clicked
then compare what G charges to adwords and see what you earn from adsense on same channel and you should have a fairly accurate number without guessing or asking G.

in my opinion it is a reasonable %
I know an advertiser appearing on my pages being very happy and I know his resort is year round full and I also know his precise ad budget and what I earn on that channel from all.

he happy - me happy - i am sure G also happy = all happy

there is no need to be jealous or envious of G - G invests a lot into this entire network in HW/know how/technology and manpower and if we publisher do same efforts - then we too earn a LOT - a least many xxxx$/m
