Any new and cool way to promote a forum?

Hello there DP junkies,

Just curious if there's any new and cool way to promote a forum, or everyone is still using the old and forgotten techniques?

Would love to see your comments about how you promote and expand you VB communities

Have a look at http://www.vbwebmaster.com/forums/ and http://www.theforumzone.com/forums/index.php -- you'll find plenty of ideas for forum promotion there - operated by DP members Joeychgo and GuyFromChicago respectively.

There's also http://www.theadminzone.com/ - huge and not quite so user-friendly (and perhaps not so new-forum-master friendly).

I went there and wondered why they have my article published under my name... Then i remembered im actually a member there...

 

That's the last straw. I'm tired of this sort of blatant theft. Consider yourself reported to mightyb. Also, consider yourself grounded until January 30 - and don't even think about one of those sob stories about how it's Christmas and New Year's Eve and all your friends will be out. You do the crime, you do the time.
