People of Pakistan will never ask for help from India. Even though it seems that were "friends" at the moment, we aren't. There is still a rivalry.
I being born in Pakistan believe the Indian army won't come to Pakistan and won't be needed.

God forbid anything bad happens but the Chinese would be the first ones to help.

Yes I don't.. But I don't live in the dreamworld either...

Indo-Pak relations were healthier than ever in 1999, Remember Kargil?

Pakistani people will go hell long before accepting Indian troops on their soil, even for peace operation.. They would seek help from China, Saudi Arabia, and other Muslim Nations, but India? Dude, Fat Chance...
LOL.... The best option is to move away from Delhi and go to some unknown village of MP.

I think, I should start digging a trench too.. ;)

LOL .... your talking like kids! Why would India 1. be asked to help in any way 2, would help in a military fashion! ...LMAO ... watching too much Xena is it?

These situations are better handled by backdoor channels and phones.

Yes UAE and other Muslim nations are in a better position to influence and doing anything here, rather than India or even US in a matter of fact!

This primarily is a Pakistan internal issue, and can be resolved only by the Pak people themselves, as this is certainly not the first general there.

Democracy is inevitable and the only way to live, ... and i believe Bhutto ... what ever you might say is their best bet today!

    Yes, im an Indian :)

I have a Pakistani friend Mushtaq, generally he is very soft spoken, doesn't curse anyone.

He said 'Bhutto is a bitch' with all seriousness and I believe him...

See i really dont want to comment more than i should.

but the way i see it personaly is you have 3 ...may be 4 players, Mushi, Bhutto, Nawaz, and you may count Imran in,... not sure how popular he is, ... but i take him as a player too.

I see with Musharaf, dictatorship, and respect him for his fight against terrorism! (as i said personal opinion)

Bhutto, a strong lady who will not bow down infront of anyone, corrupt yes, but has been attacked by terrorist groups, and will do the same as would Musharaf in the fight against terrorism, if not less.

Nawaz, it was during his time that Kargil took place, and it is a prooved fact that Pak military was involved in it, ....so as an Indian , thats a serious NO NO!

    Imran, again... not sure!

as i said (my personal opinion) Bhutto is "the best bet".
not using saviour or the best or ... just to the situation that has become, "the best bet"

I second your friend's opinion. She's more of a whore. She'll whore herself anywhere she sees an oppurtunity.

I dare to differ from the people who are cursing Musharraf here.

The way I see it there was no option left for Musharraf He had to go for it. Supreme court and lawyers were having a complete plan to announce the decision against him. Tell me what would you do in such a condition when some maulana's will go and blow themselves in army camps and bomb the markets.

This all political crisis was formed on plan by these narrow minded politicians but they never knew Musharraf will fight them till the end.

I support him fully even in this worse condition in which we are in at this moment.

If you want to follow up more on this, I will be posting updated links here at Pakistan Forums

President Musharraf's speach after the emergency is also posted there.

So he wants immunity regarding taking off the uniform NOT about taking action against terrorist!

The SC was supposed to make a hearing regarding him contesting General Elections.

It is very obvious that Iftikhar Chaudhry and others were just taking a revenge instead of making a decision based on law.
