I still don't understand how this works, and when I ask, people give me bad karma :(

So can someone please explain to me in a simple way, how this works?

Have people tested this and are getting money?

Well, I tried it for the hell of it. Posted 5 profiles. I waited for Google Base to publish, it did.

I went back to main Google Base search page and searched for my published profiles and there were no results. I still have no idea where they are. Lost in the database somewhere, I guess?

What I don't understand is after going to the main Google Base search page, then clicking the Personal Profiles link, it opens a page that has had the same profiles there for the last 6 hours. How the hell did this poster get so lucky to have their profile remain there for so long? Even after posting my profiles, that same guy's profile is still there and hasn't moved down. I wonder what this guy is doing?

I submitted some articles to Google Base. Seems as if its working, but when i click "ITEM URL" it gives me this:

    "Invalid Listing Number
This listing has been removed or is no longer available. Please make sure that you've entered the listing number correctly."

The URL is correct though. What is the "listing number"?

That just goes to show that not playing by the rules and spamming people does work after all, contrary to popular belief.

Nice income though. Don't spend all your money in once place.

I'm pretty sure that this only happens when you use a URL, rather than using Google to host your ad.

Nintendo: How did you get the affiliate links to show as a regular link? All i see is a regular link in the popular items section of Google base..and not a affiliate link.
for example: In the people profiles section under each persons profile i see this
    http://****.com/***id=p1000

How can I modify the below CJ link which is like this
    <a href="http://www.kqzyfj.com/2h103jdl02984A52021484413" target="_blank" onmouseover="window.status='http://****.com';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;">More</a><img src="http://www.tqlkg.com/ir97fz2rxLIGIHKOKKHJ" width="1" height="1" border="0">
    to look like this http://****.com/***id=p1000

How are you all doing it?

    Thanks Nintendo.
I would use .htaccess redirect if I had a website...but i am just copying the aff link from cj and pasting it on GB. How do i use .htaccess in such a case? I am sorry for being so dumb.

Dont get blinsided by the hype people. There is no shortcut to making money, especially online. If anything is truly 'too good to be true' it will be expoited before you finnish reading this sentence because it is human nature to expoit.

I wouldn't call it hype. After all it worked for the guy. You just have to be able to see when a good opportunity arises and act upon it.

Very interesting article. Thanks. I'm sure many copycats are on to the idea already. I won't be starting any adult websites but I learnt something new ... Google Base.
