WTF Is This???

Hi,

I have just started my first blog, but soon I got some comments about "admin added an interesting post on.." followed by the content of my post.

Then I checked the blog it linked to, there I found the same duplicated content of my post with a backlink to my blog. Is that spamming, automatic blog or what?

add a captcha option for comments to solve that.

 

Was it the entire post or just a snip? Have you submitted your RSS feed to blog directories?

It's kind of unavoidable, and I mostly just enjoy the backlinks. The odds are low that you will suffer a duplicate content penalty from SE's, but that danger theoretically exists. My experience shows that duped pages can both stay indexed, and logic tells me there are so many legitimate reasons for popular content to appear in many places that the filter is not very good if it exists at all.
If you use WP and upload the Copyright Plugin, your RSS feed will contain a warning that will deter manual scrapers to some extent. It includes a reporting address, so you may hear about these from conscientious readers of these blogs.

Can someone please explain what is scraping?

 

It is actually Trackback which comes from a site which is using feeds to scrape your site they take experts so they will automatically ping you for trackback and wordpress makes it easy to have a trackback . I always get back trackbacks
