i got me $50 spare bucks. What should i do for traffic to a blog?

I have $50 and i want to know what should i do for traffic. Actually what can i do for better traffic (i dont want to buy traffic) should i pay for manual submissions here or some other thing i am missing? Give me a feww suggestions. thanks guys

 

If you have a blogging site, it wouldn't hurt to pay for some more good content. Other than that hold on to your fifty bucks, and take your wife out, or gf, or find a girl in a bar and take her out!

 

$50 really isnt a lot of cash to use for promotion

Some of the best promotion is completely free it just takes time.

there was a stage when I also had just 50 bucks and wanted more and more traffic...but you see you wont get anything...

just hold on to that...write more more posts...good posts..wait for the next 100 to come and go for new theme...good one...that will bring more traffic...

then wait for more money...invest in good logo...that will bring more traffic..

for now write content ..interview people in your niche...guest post in different blogs...and then open some 125x125 ad spots in your blog...just see how the money flows in....THEN INVEST IN TRAFFIC...

Use the money to purchase links from related websites. This will not only boost your SERP ranking, it will increase PR and also give you targetted traffic to your website.

already Google s scrwd so many with payed links...

better now get into paid links dude...stay with your content and by consistent!!

 

Not new. I have about 7000 hours doing this crap (that i love) just wanted new ideas.

Time is money.... nothing is free!

 

Get two articles written. Use one as link bait on your blog ($20). Then another promoting that article ($20).

Then spend $10 getting the promotion article submitted to several article directories.

 

Here's my two cents...

I'd write a quality article (or outsource it) and make sure to optimize the article for a good keyword phrase (I use 3-5% in keyword density). I'd post the article to the blog first and then ping it!

Then, I'd submit the article to the directories (I use ArticleMarketer.com) either manually or using ArticleSender.com

I'd start Squidoo lenses and Hubpages targeting the same keyword phrase, put some content there and link to the blog.

Then I'd ping the Web 2.0 pages.

You can also write an article for Scribd.com or upload a PDF report on your topic and include a link back to your blog.

You might also consider putting up a featured Classified Ad on USFreeAds.com (about $10) and an eBay Classified (also about $10) as well.

Lastly, you might consider hiring some blog posters here on DP and have some comments posted to your article as well.

There's a billion things you could do but these work well for me...

I loved those..even I would be implementing that. I was looking for some article submission sites considering that I recently ended up timestamping articles till 31st december

Get some blog posts or reviews on sites and blogs with PR3-PR4, for $50 you can expect 5-10 of those!

 

If you had something to sell you could put the item on craigslist and include your blog as a sig? This way you get FREE traffic from the 7th most viewed site on the planet this should improve your Google Page Rank, especially if the blog of a good niche.
