It's useful IF you think link exchanges boost your rankings and don't make your site look crummy.... I used to participate in a number of link exchanges but I've become more wise since and I don't anymore. Google's guidelines say that they do not link people corrupting their index by participating in link exchanges. Google's loyalty is to it's searchers, not it's webmasters. For or Against Google TOS, it still is a fact that link exchange is one of the most active parts of DP, isn't it? So I saw that the process was long and I reduced the process. This plugin is now in the form of a widget (better). PM me for the link.

The concept was introduce not just to manipulate Google but it was more about telling others about a new blog. It works like this, 3 people make 3 blogs and install my widget. (http://tech36.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/lepromote.zip) Now on each blog link of the other 2 will come and it's all coordinated by Tech36.com server. If someone removes the widget, his links will be removed in 2 days (automatic). Index is rebuilt every 4 hours. So after you install you have to wait for a maximum of 4 hours to get indexed.
