Best way to transfer categories between directories

    I have several directories and was wondering the best way to transfer over the 300+ categories I have on one directory to another. They are both on diffrent hosting accounts, so I was wondering what the easiest way to do this was?

    Any feedback greatly appreciated ;)

    Go to phpmyadmin

    choose your database

    go to export

    click the tbl_categories table

    check the save as file box

    download the file

    select your other database

    go to import

    upload the file

    done:D

    Does the import/export also export the links that are added to the categories or it's just the structure that's transferred?

    as you only export the categories table, it wont move any links. if you want to move the links too, select tbl_links.
