Well Digg/Stumble traffic sucks for Adsense, coz

    1) its not really targetted.
    2) Digg users are geeks, they know whats an adsense ad, they ignore those.
    3) Stumble users stumble to next site faster than you could prolly fart :D

All this boils down to the very questions, is social bookmarking any good for adsense? NO NO NO

The only benefit from DIGG especially is you get some good backlinks since most users are geeks/webmasters who own their blogs might link back to you.

I got a bit real traffic from Digg but got a lot of fake traffic from StumbleUpOn

I think Digg better than Stumble

Digg traffic is good for few things:

    1) More traffic from Digger's own websites/blogs
    2) More backlinks from Digger's own website/blogs
    3) If it is a tech-site, maybe 1% will return.

I agree about the fake traffic from StumbleUpon. I've never been on the first page of Digg but SU traffic isn't good for Adsense in terms of earnings and clicks.

To me stumble upon is a double edge short. It brings a lot of traffic that hardly clicks, but checking on the stumble pages it does provide pageranked back links to your web pages. Which could mean that after the links go from the pageranked pages that you loose those backlinks and loose pagerank. Shrug.

Stumble is only good for the CPM ads. Still feels good to get a couple of thousand visitors a day from it.

Same is the case with me ,no one click on ads ..just increases the page impressions and resultantly CTR goes Low...so,moving towards Digg & stumbleupon services is not an intelligence !
