What are the best ways to get people to click on an ad? I know blending helps, but what other methods do you recommend? Do you find putting the ads in the F-shape reading pattern helps? Do you usually aim for users that are not very computer/internet savvy?
Ummmm. I don't try to trick users. I just make them visible. Top Left, Right Under header, or something that they usually will look in. If they are interested, they click. Otherwise, nothing much I can do.
That's where the boobs would come in I guess. Would have a set of boobs be against Google's ToS? I'll have to give that a try.
People will click if the ads are relevant. Make sure the ads match the content. If they don't then tweak it until it does. Also make the ads loook like linkson the rest of your site.
Thats the big one, make your ads as relevant as can be by filtering junk and tagging your code for relevancy using the <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) --> stuff
Should they clothed, semi-clothed, or nekked boobies? I wonder if I could put the ad between said boobies...
my suggestions: make it related to the topic (same topic in that page) make near the main info ( put after a valuable info) make attractive make belong to the site or make it extremely weired use a good ad rotations don't use many ads bye the way pointing to google ads get you banned don't try that good luck
a lot of poeple are using this technique I don't think it works better is at the end of topic users usually click related links when topic make them more thirsty
dont try to make your visitors click apart from blending and other strategic places as google wont like that
