Best way to promote Bidding directories? (with and without PR)

Discussion in 'Directories' started by stock_post, Oct 30, 2007.

I have lot of bidding directories that gained PR in the current update.
Lot of Internal categories got PR as well.

And since google do not want us to use PR for advertising.

What are the options I have and what is the most efficient way to promote those directories?

    Thanks

Make sure they are human edited. Don't accept all links. Make this explicit. Don't auto-accept links. If you do, remove bad ones and refund.

Submitting your directories to other bid directories certainly help. I did this and I gained significant PR on this update.

Try submit to other quality bid directories. Dont just expect to post them on DP and get submissions....you need to build links to them:)

You could list / detail your marketing of the directory.

    ex.

XYZ is a highly promoed online directory, listing in many high profile sites ( this site | that site | any site ) and also uses adwords etc etc, resulting in a high visitor rate, increasing by 20% per month. rady rady

expand / delete as needed. maybe even links ( shown in blue )

i guess getting high on terms don't bring good submissions! people will only submit to your directory when they see it a few times on other directories! honestly speaking, google search dosenot helps much in submission!

    congrats for your 5k posts!
that's quite correct! submitting to other good bid directories will sure help, but then i would like to ask, what's the safest way to build links! any link building strategy for bidding directories that you suggest!

I think that it is your promotion that will bring in more submissions. Now promotion I mean to both bidding directories & Web directories. Also you can throw in some spl oofers, discounts to get in some submissions.
