Hi folks! An ad in google search took me to http://www.chitika.org/ , which has referal links for chitika sign up... Why should a company like chitika ever allow such sites, to be included in their network in the first place. Doesnt it question the credibility of chitika...? The site just tries to replicate what's on http://www.chitika.com, where you have a place to verify if an ad can be displayed for a keyword. I bet a site like adsense.org or google.org wont even exists in the first place to register as its generally registered initially. -- Arun
Quote from Chitika.com's FAQ https://chitika.com/faqs.php If it's a word in common use any one can use it in a domain name. On the other hand, the way this site is made, may be considered a violation.
I have chitika dot dk - chitika recently contacted me cos I had 301'ed it to their domain and asked that I stop that - at the same time they mentioned they had no problem with me promoting the program, they just required that it wasn't with a redirect and I had to mention that the site wasn't owned by chitika.
I don't understand what the problem is. Your asking why Chitika would allow someone to create a Website that promotes Chitika's products? Why would you stop someone from promoting your product? And so he gets a referral bonus if someone signs up. Good for him. Nobody loses. Chitika gets customers, customers make money, referrer makes money. There seems to be this attitude on the Web that anybody who tries to make money is evil. I thought communism was dead?
