In your phpMyAdmin pick your database on the left hand side

Then click on phpbb_config by default or whatever prefix you are using eg. prefix_config

Click on browse at the top

Find cookie_secure table and click on the little pen next to it

    Change 1 to 0 bellow cookie_secure

    Click on Go

    You are done!

    Well done, mightyb! :)

You can also do this directly from your phpBB Admin Control Panel.

Scroll down to and click on General Admin | Configuration in the left menu panel.

In the right panel, scroll down to the Cookie Settings section.

Where it says, "Cookie secure: If your server is running via SSL, set this to enabled, else leave as disabled", click on Disabled.

Probably has something to do with the fact that your server doesn't support ssl with cookies.
