New E-Book Store - Comments appreciated

I have just launched an ebook store: http://www.ebookstoredeals.com/

and would like some opinions about the site's look and feel.

 

That's a pretty nice looking site (template?)...
The picture of that girl in the header is kind of out of place, and her eyes scare me.

 

I agree about the woman in the header -- replace it something more relating to your site (design an eBook cover with your site's logo or something similar).

If you really want to sell eBooks you should focus on selling them, not generate revenue through other means (AdSense). I'd remove all the ad units or at least blend them into the site so they don't stand out as much.

Wasn't this site on sale in "buy and sell" section of DP?

I agree with others that the gir's stare is disturbing. Also, I do not see why you would want to dedicate so much of the page space to a header - waste of space if you'd as me.

 

I agree that you should remove the staring girl and replace her with your logo.
For example it could be a pen and book or something.
And remove the orange color in the headline.
It doesn't fit with the rest of the site.
But this is my opinion only.
