    PR update is happening right now, you better check your status these days. A lot of high PR sites dropped according to statistics while obtaining more traffic.
    A little wired but acceptable.

    I only worry about SERP. I would rather have site listed well in search results for my keywords than have high page rank and not being listed well.

    I agree with you ..what matters is that the site appears in as many search results no matter the prs

    would prefer higher traffic than higher pr

    i dropped to day in PR from 5 to 4
    but get more traffic already since a few days and the SERPS are still as high as ever ( may be better for the better traffic ? )

    DP PR tool still shows same PR but most other tools and firefox toolbar show new/lower PR today.

    all perfect with or w/o PR - traffic brings $ + happy people and thats all that matters = traffic !

    givancy don't worry too much about your PR just look for ways to increase your traffic ...

    One of my sites dropped in pr, but has high ranking in google. At the end of the day all that matters is traffic.

    The update is over and many people last their PR. Just like many people on this thread suggested I think it's more important to concentrate on serps and traffic.

    It seems a happy PR update to everyone in term of traffic. But one of my site go opposite: PR+4, traffic-50%, SERP-50%

    It's a new site, never mind. google's algorithm always change, we can never predict what will happen next.

    some of my new sites got PR1 its 1-2months old.
    but PR is just a PR. what we need is traffic... no matter what PR our site is.

    my newest site got its first PR which is 5 - NICE
    2-3 of my sites started to climb on ranking due to recent link building campaign
    one dropped to PR2 from PR3
    lot of changes happening everyday for the last few days for me

    My experience says that for the first year you can expect some ups and downs in your serps especially from google which in turn will give you ups and downs in your traffic ... if I am not mistaken people call this the "google dance"
