my http://www.dogflu.ca just went from a pr 5 to a 6. Thank you google... anyone else showing increase?
http://digpagerank.com/index.php?url=www.finalfantasynetwork.com&dc=18 A very unexpected jump from 2 to 6. I was expecting a 3, maybe a 4.
google has been a bit friendly lately! i got some updates, a lot of my new sites now have PR! though a few dropped too, but then overall it's good!
Decrease from a 4 to a 3 here, and with a lot more backlinks than I had at the last update as well. Think I'm getting punished for running the TLA program? and if I am, think I should remove it and apologize to google, or forget about PR and go from here?
Either links from your nich, or very high trusted links from sites that are not going anywhere anytime soon. Quality links from your nich are the way to go I think. But that said, analyzing the backlinks of my competitors, I find in large part, links not related hmmm. Im not quite sure why sites rank with links that are unrelated that is half the problem right there. I would definintely avoid tla, sitewides on (30000) pages and anything like that. Lots of links there, but low value and definitely not theme related. I'm pretty sure if you trade or buy links with a site and google sees it as offering a valuable addition to that site, you'll not be harmed. Example, buying a dog houses link on a dog breeds website.
You say that like you want us to believe it. PR matters because users believe in it. That toolbar is the most universal measure of a page's link value, and as such, determines how people behave in relation to acquiring that link. PR may not give a good indication of SERP, but it undoubtedly measures a page's ability to bestow rankings in the most popular SE. Overrated it assuredly is...but it is not useless to have valuable real estate authenticated by Google. People become confused because PR ≠SERP. What those who deride PR don't understand it is that is still a pretty good guide as to how effective a link will be in promoting SERPs when suitably anchored with keywords. I may be no SEO Guru...but the free-books I have read and the forum have taught me to bring my sites from PR 0 to 4's and one 5 since late July. And I expect to enjoy many "useless" benefits from these more powerful pages, including classier links than the one that got me to this point.
I got PR all of site from 0 to X http://www.adulu.com/ PR3 http://www.adulu.com/adulu/exchange-rate/ PR2 http://www.adulu.com/adulu/directory/ PR2 http://www.adulu.com/adulu/games/ PR2 Total got PR9
Not that useless is great to see your website have a PR better than nothing.Your a useless SEO if you don't have one.
I got two increases: www.stemplate.com - 0 to 5 www.henryhoffman.com - 1 to 5 I find this wholly bizarre as I don't really have any decent backlinks It hasn't increased traffic in the slightest so I don't really give a damn, though I don't know anyone else that's had as much as a 0 to 5 leap like me.
