Because Widget Bucks was hiding a hidden URL behind the Widgets. Yes Google Knows about it - Google is like God they see everything , we must all obey the all Mighty Google.
Widgetbucks actually once dated Google's sister in high school but then never called her after that because she wouldn't put out, and since then Google has been after Widgetbucks because Google's sister now works in a Carl's Jr. in Oakland as an assistant manager because she dropped out of school after Widgetbucks spread embarrassing rumors about her in gym class.
I got a email today from someone saying they thought widgetbucks was responsible for their site dropping in Google for PageRank. I dont want to disclose who this is but lets just say its a pretty well known blogger. When I asked them why they thought it was widgetbucks that caused the drop in pagerank they said that widgetbucks was banned in Google for there own term. I looked up widgetbucks and it does not look that they have been banned but they definitely are being penalized. i would call having no pages indexed a ban. http://www.google.com/search?q=site:http://www.widgetbucks.com&hl=en&filter=0 now they have that one page indexed.it was just the flash files before. they have removed the backlink in the ad code,so they may start being indexed again.
I got an email from them 2 days ago stating that they have reduced the loading time in their ad code and publishers needed to replace the code on there site with the new. When I did this I noticed that the load time didn't change at all. I just checked and all they did was take out the link. They left the text there though.
they don't want to sound like the weiner they are in the email and say they have removed the link from the code.
Maybe read their Blog Posts - Sem-Advance was on the ball. So many people jumping and guessing wrong conclusions. The error was in a piece of code on their index page which caused the Google Spider to loop. The code wasn't corrected because ..... just read their Blog.
They corrected the loop from index page that was messing with Google Bot, so they'll be back up in SERPS again soon. Simple error people.
