is it something normal to think of death and of what it will be after death all day long?!

    Interesting question.

I think about it a quite a bit. I wouldn't say it's normal, as in healthy, it definitely shows deep speculation and fear.

Maybe you should act upon your interest in theology. E.G, write about it, read about it, or find people to talk about it with.

I don't think that's something that goes away, in my opinion. Besides if you reach an epiphany. Join a religion or suddenly start to have a
    miserable life, not worth living.

It's not exactly something the average person likes to think about.

    Life is kinda nice.

Yep. I also think it's normal to realize, in your bones, that death is there, so here we are - what will you and I do with the finite hours left to us? How many images of beauty - the strands of clouds streaming by, a blue corona around a full moon - left to us? I want to live each moment as if it's my last. This is my goal.

I'd find someone to talk to about why you think about it so much. My first thought would be that you might be depressed. Check out Out of the Blue

Well you can't just deny & ignore it. I used to think about it a lot myself until I got over it. It's coming to terms with mortality. Your perception of "self" probably feels threatened when you realize you're going to be dead some day.

Don't worry, there is no self IMO. Perception being a result of processes in the brain is also inherently physical.

It's normal, shows that you're thinking things through without ignoring them or being brainwashed. (If you're convinced about what happens when you die without thinking it through, you are brainwashed). Everyone is (atleast initially) afraid of death. Not thinking about it is what's abnormal.

The coffin making business will never shut down in this system of things. Might be time to learn a new trade.

What about NDE? Thats an interesting subject, yet we just have theories about it. Yea I often question people about death yet they seem to not be bothered and generally change the topic.

I used to think about it constantly all day everyday while I was accepting the fact that I really didn't believe in God... for some reason I was really scared of the fact that I knew deep down I didnt believe and figured that if it is true... now I am screwed and going to hell... but once I accepted the fact that I didn't believe it rarly think about it, or atleast never worry about it.

Try not to think about it too much mate, it is going to happen to us all at some stage, even Bruce Forsyth will die eventually and he is about 150 years old.

I suspect they change the topic because if they think about it they really DO get bothered.

What I think about more than actual death itself is what happens after that.

I believe in strongly in reincarnation but that would be a subject for another topic.
