heheheh NO they just came after the strongest webmasters 1st then they went after all
the high PR sites that didnt bother to listen to thier demands/requests or whatever you want to call it. :)

In the end its simple ... NO PR will be sold

    thx

This will practically change the whole directory business (IMO)

IMO, the new popular directories will be the ones that actually bring traffic back...

But we just have to wait and see

Actually even the old directories not only the new ones. As long as their pages are cached that appears in the SERPs and that brings traffic.

Thats the reason why I dont care that much about PR, as it is automated. I'd rather look at traffic and revenue only.
Most people think PR is EVERYTHING

Both Alive and Aviva have been effected which is disappointing... it will be interesting to see how the submission prices change (if at all). Obviously this issue has only recently come to light so it might simply be that Google has not finished; it is oftern usual for sites to go down for a period and then up again during the update... we'll have to wait and see. Either way, im happy because my PR5 still seems to be maintained on my top ranking webmaster directory, although this maybe due to the niche nature of the site...

    Yes it is Cached.

How did everyone promote bid directories ? By Gambling for the Top Page right ? Promoted everywhere for Page Rank. Traffic was never the original intention.:p

    Hello...

Well in the end does it matter?

I could show you results that all directories that dropped in PR or penalized are actively
in the top 10 for thousands of keyword phrases in All the other engines so whom really
lost anything here? The PR chasers are the only thing that was lost so is that a bad thing?

Im sure many will do thier best to comply with future requests after the issues are presented..

    thx
    malcolm
