Well it finally happened. My page was unreachable beacuse of to manny connections, ,i have a delux plan that let u have either 100 or 150 connections at once.. and i couldnt get to my own page at one point!

should i upgrade to a dedicated server with godaddy.. is it time?
or is godaddy a no go.. (domains only cause they are cheap!)

Who would be a good host to go with ro replace it? .

don't go with godaddy, they aren't the best host.

what are your useage stats? you may still be able to go with shared hosting.

otherwise, you should look into a dedicated host, but you definitely need to share what kind of stats your using.

    im guessing its your proxies?

Proxies can easily use over 100 concurrent connections (apache not sql) due to high traffic and reach.

i have an account with 1and1 very basic one.. the only prob i see with them is they cap databases at 100mb. which would be fine for now.. but if one of the sites take off could be a problem...

Always go with host that has enough good rep...and not those common domain reg turned hosts like godaddy, 1and1, etc.

Might be worth considering moving just your proxy site somewhere else i.e. to a specialized proxy web host. There are plenty of people around DP like me, agnivo007, thewird that offer this service and would be willing to help you with your proxy.

I can also make offer for a dedicated server if you want where you can keep all your websites.

Well in my own defense it was about a year and a half ago when i was just starting to build more sites and got tired of the free hosting. haha i was still a young apprentice to the webmaster world.
    :p
Now its just my goal to make high traffic pages and work on my semi retirement :p

I would at least put your proxy site on a different proxy friendly host.

Not because I sell proxy hosting, but yes, it's a good idea to move your web proxy to a proxy host.

100 concurrent connections are generally reached by proxies easily. I would recommend you to moving to another web host.

A shared hosting would allow that too, except the over sellers.
