I just love that post MeetHere :)

Yeap, looks like trouble time is coming for Mr G.
Search results are more than stupid as so many valuabe sites were banned or penalized lately. And I'm not talking about directories at the moment.
    AdSense also gone crazy.
Seems they chase $$ too much, forgetting what internet is.
This is not a factory. Cannot be under total control.

Yes it will be very interesting to see how this all falls out, but as most of us (or all) here are not competitors of Mr G we are not taken into consideration

The day of reckoning may well come in the Stock Exchange as the SE Competitors must be aiming to increase market share while all this turmoil is going on

And that inevitably will eventually hit the share price of Mr G

The bloodbath could very well be in Wall Street one day soon when Mr Y announces that he has pulled back some 10% of search or similar from Mr G

The share price would then flip down rapidly

I treat Google like anyone else.
If they want to get listed with me they have to pay!

But I would consider a reciprocal with them :)

I'm wondering about the difference friend. Seems you are in control of LinkForever which is your site, while Google is in control, which is their site and they did not ask anyone to use their site users just used it. :)

What's the fuzz all about ? Its their house its their rules.

Google is publicly traded. LinkForever is not.

If Coca Cola does something to influence you not to drink there products, do you think share holders would be happy in the long run? I'm just saying that Dargre can do what he wants because the company is solely his and he has to do whats best for his site, but with Google they have to think about the public eye.

There is Pepsi as my option. If Dargre has total control so is the owners of Google. Where is the difference ? The public eye and your reffering to whom and which section of the public ?

Dargre is in total control because there's no one he has to answer to. G has the entire public looking at what they are doing. Decisions are made by board members who are influenced by share holders who look at public opinion. You are right, use there services if you want, and don’t use them if you dont, but from a different perspective there is a difference.

Do you think that a Skating Rink gives a a heck of what happens at G's PR or a local community ? Or the many establishments around I think their not. How many shouts that Google is unfair in your place where you live ? Does the local bar who has a website not conforming or Mrs.laundry who have a laundromat ? I guess I already know the eprcentage who you are talking about. :)
Public opinion of who. The link buyers ? :D Lol

Ahhh. So we are clear. If adwords or adsense your referring to I am not familiar with that. That is a territory I have not explored, honestly. ;)

The difference is that I do not tell Google what is good and what is wrong, whether they are allowed to make quick buck or no, whether they can have these or other friends.

But Google does tell me all of it.

But more than all I hate people changing their mind, friends depending on what is happening in the moment.
Do you change your sex if G tells your current is not welcome?
