Alternate Ads for Google Adsense

Discussion in 'Affiliate Programs' started by nlopes, May 12, 2004.

Can anybody recomend me some afflaite programs so that I can use them as alternate content for google adsense?

The problem is that my site is in portuguese and I display some thousands of alternate ads. I'm using valueclick for now, but it hasn't many banners to run for portuguese IPs.

So I need a pay-per-click or Pay-per-impression program that accepts internationals sites (and that pays on time! :))

    Can you recomend me something?

I don't know of any per click or per impression systems, but you might try a big affiliate system (like Commission Junction). That's where we get filler banners for the most part.

The problem of CJ is that they require that the user buy something of enters the e-mail.
And portuguese users.... mostly don't buy anything on-line, don't click, don't enter mails,.....
I have about 8000 hits in my page for alternate ads in a month, so I must definelty find one program to generate some income from them.

I've aplied also for Doubleclick, but they also don't accept ads for Portuguese site. :(

Right... pretty much all affiliate programs require you buy something in order to get paid.

    Try AllFeeds.com.

You can see it running at Fort Liberty right now.

Their Google Backfill service is now 100% Google AdSense compatible.

    It's a PPC (Pay-Per-Click) service.

Therefore, you won't see the AllFeeds.com ads, unless you find a page on the site where AdSense can't figure out what ad too place.

On Fort Liberty, it is not too difficult to find one of those pages. :(

Has anyone used AllFeeds for long? How are their payrates compared with adsense or Clicksor? I haven't heard of Allfeeds but I have heard of Clicksor although haven't tried them yet.

AdSense has been much more profitable.

If fact, my CPC for AdSense has been 17.7267 times as high as my CPC for AllFeeds.

AllFeeds is still useful because AdSense is frequently just too stupid to display ads.

    how is clicksor "better"?

I don't know, I doubt I'd trust a small company like that unless someone else has actually recieved a check from them..

I use Clicksor as an AdSense filler, but the CTR and payment per click are about 20 times lower than AdSense. In the time I've made $800 with AdSense, I made $0.49 with Clicksor. :)
