I support our troops to the fullest :D Alittle off topic but have you guys heard of these church groups that are going to military funerals to protest because the military lets lets homosexuals in their ranks?
I don't think I've ever been so angry at any group of people that I didn't even know in my entire life.
Here's a quote from their group:
If I was a member of one of these fallen hero's family I don't think I would be able to help myself from maiming some of those fucks myself.

You know who else should support the troops?

THE PEOPLE WHO SENT THEM TO WAR! Past and present!

I wholeheartedly support our troops, even though I believe Bush is a total and complete nut. As said, the troops first. I'll try spreading that video around, put it on my blog, and link to it on my site- I really care about these folks who put their lives on the line everyday.

As a veteran myself, I completely support this concept, however, I wish they could've done it without all of the political ad sponsorships on the page - I find that a bit tacky.

ABout 25% of homeless Americans are veterans.

    I think that's utterly disgraceful!

The fact they are homeless (veteran or not) is disgraceful. But I'm a veteran and certainly wouldn't expect someone to give me anything because of it. I used to be given everything from a free meal to a hundred bucks, just because I was in uniform. It was nice.

But if you are homeless because you are a drunk or druggie, I don't care whether you are a veteren or not, you need to get your act together.

For those who have fallen apart mentally because of war and are homeless, I feel the same as you Rob.

Free schooling is not an automatic.

Soldiers are offered free tuition while serving generally, but few have the time, especially when they're deployed most of the time.

The GI Bill is something soldiers must pay into during their first year of service; if they're entering on the bottom rung, PV1, $100 per month seems like a lot of money and they don't all pay into it.
