just wondering if you guys think that this site is using the term "used cisco" a little excessively?

    usedcisco*com

from what i've experienced, it's not necessary to go that crazy with the keyphrase. i could be wrong though.

I reviewed the site a bit, it appears they use the term quite a lot, but its all human friendly and doesn't seem like keyword spamming to me. I would say they did it quite successfully

Well that seems like a little overboard. Remember you should build websites for people not for search engines. Anchor text with keyword like in the example is fine, but for God sake vary the keywords! It has to be some high demand, low competition keywords you can go for.

katwright has the right answer. If you're going to keep talking about something, find synonyms. Whether Google dings you for keyword stuffing is actually less important than whether readings think you're of low intelligence because the redundant use of (key)words makes you look inarticulate.
