I would like to know how much I can trust on predicting page rank??? My forums pagerank is now 1 but has been predicted to 5 with around 85% certainty. Everybody else get's the same prediction?? http://forum.finalfantasyunlimited.net and when can whe ex[ect the new update?
No PR prediction tool is accurate. Depending on your link building efforts, you should be able to know what to expect yourself. The next PR update will probably be sometime in early November.
Don't rely on PR prediction tool they are not accurate. Better if you would just wait for PR update but I guess PR update is not coming I don't know why google do this. Maybe they have another plan.
Why u should care when the external PageRank is updationed? It not used for search engines, only by spammy SEOs and link sell advertisers like Text Link Ads for ad sales to webmasters who not know any better. These ppls should be avoid at all cost, for they are dishonest and mislead. No u should worry about the PageRank. Worry about the site. Is a nice forum, and the more ppl post to it, the more u should see the search engine referral.
Some people are awaiting the PR bar update as if the site is low pr, it helps to gain links from good quality related sites. For exmample, a friends site of mine I did some SE0 work on is PR0 in the toolbar (but now has quite a lot of relevant backlinks)....quite a few sites that 'would' have linked to him refused as the sites PR was too low... Some webmasters are under the misguided impression that linking to a PR0 site (no matter how high quality it is) will drain their PR parasitically by association. This is not the case.....but still means the toolbar is very useful to some! granted, google knows your 'real' PR and updates daily, so it says.....
Dont trust these PR prediction tools else you may get disappointed when the real update happens. Also, no tool is accurate as far as I know.
Pr prediction tool just make a suggestion based on number of links specially. Although its not accurate, gives you an overview how well it may do in near future.
Exactly my point. Normal user doesn't judge site on low pr at all. Google doesn't judge site solely on low pr. Only webmaster and other SEO who have no good reason to use toolbar pr use the toolbar pr.
personally i am not trusting any of those... what, they predict the PR which your present site having a PR of 0 will be soon PR1? of course every site increases it's PR step by step... now i believe google is doing some kinda' talk about PR whether to retain it or forget about the matter... since it's a prediction i don't believe such... anyways it might be somehow helpful since they compute it before coming up to such prediction anyways... good luck
So if it takes links to get from PR 0 to PR 1 but you can't get those links until you're PR 1, that's a Catch 22, and all sites will always remain PR 0. Isn't that like saying jet packs that let you fly are still important because some people still think the world is flat and they can fall off the edge?
They might not be accurate but they can be used to give an indication. Not a reliable one but a calculated one
