Hey all, I put widgetbucks on one of my arcade websites just to test it out and I'm quite happy, but I'm also worried. My site with adsense used to get about 3000 impressions. Widget bucks seems to not count impressions correctly. I got just about the same amount of clicks I used to with Adsense, but instead of 3000 impressions I got something like 450, meaning my CTR was like 16% ..... has anyone had simmilar issues? I mean I'm happy for the clicks but wouldn't that put a flag up and get banned before I even get my first check, without doing anything wrong? BTW a Performance Report: With Adsense: 3-4 dollars a day on the site. With WidgetBucks: 9.00 flat yesterday. Like...LOVE it so far. I'm not going to put it on any of my other pages as of now just to see how it goes. When I get my first check I will surely convert if this keeps up.
What's everyone's problems with high CTR? My adsense sites have consistently had very high CTR for 18 months with no problems. If the traffic is legit, there are no issues with high CTR.
A few questions that I would truly like answered: 1. What has been the increase in earnings amongst other entertainment (arcade) websites? 2. Also, Erin, have your earnings remained at triple what they were with Adsense? 3. What is a reasonable 'EPC' (Earnings-Per-Click) to expect from Widgetbucks for arcades?
Their ads are really slow to load, so most users jump to next page before loading is finished. That is why number of impressions is much lower that for adsense. But hey, if you make more money with them who cares about impressions. I am also thinking to give them a try, but want to be sure they are paying first.
I have found that there impression count are wrong also but we will have to wait and see for the rest
Well, I have a quite low-traffic site(s) - I am still beginner - but in one minute after implementing WidgetBucks I earned 0.37$, while on AdSense I literally got 0.01$... It's good while it lasts
Wait for the adjustments to kick in. Frankly speaking , we all know how well Arcade visitors convert into buying customers. THEY DON'T.
I heard somebody else on here mention the same thing and they got banned for a reason other than that, although it didn't apply at all
It was... ME! lol. sucks badly but I'm not too bummed over it. What comes around goes around and I don't believe more than 5 of my clicks converted out of like 500 clicks. THey owed me 60 bucks, couldnt make that with the 5 clicks. Its not that they don't want publishers but like someone mentioned they're a business andthey need profits. My visitors are "FREE ONLINE GAMES" visitors and wouldn't buy products.
well im doing great in widgetbucks. i just added it to my proxy homepage as well and its making about 3x as much as adsense, even though ive left adsense on that page still lol. im justing hoping they pay, and not ban people for geting low conversion rate.
