Hello,
I have find a very cool script here.But as the price is just on higher side,I would like to go for any open source alternative(I wounder if there is any).Your advice in this regard will be highly appreciated.Thanks in advance.

maybe writing your own script, then you have what you want, or let it write by someone... Most of the time there are some persons who like to earn some money for writing such things

first of all you need to make sure you have permission from the publisher to use their news feeds

zfeeder for example is a simple and free OS script that allows for caching news feeds and to display the news on your site
all you THEN need is to ADAPT the zfeeder included templates to properly display the feeds
and to create the page in which the feeds / news are inserved

HOW you modify zfeeder display depends only on your ideas and CSS creativity
a highly simplified display can be seen on one of my own pages

i use it to display my own Philippines relevant RSS feeds - just to give you an idea

whether news have pics or not depends ONLY on the original feed - as you can see, some of my feeds are mRSS feeds others only plan RSS2.0 text feeds

the page layout can be adapted to your needs by use of

tables - incl multiple nested tables
