Thinking of dropping adsense after earnings went down to 10% of normal

    for CPC
Now clicks are worth 10% of what I used to earn for the last 10 months. Suddenly the last 4 days started to get 10% of I what used to get.

    Traffic the same, even more.
    CTR is the same.
    ECPM went down 90%
    earnings went down 90%

The worst thing is that google stopped paying me too the full amount of referrals, Now getting around 20% of what used to get in referrals too.

If this is going to continue for more days, will surely drop adsense.

Check sites that advertise and see if they have adsense ads or clickbank ads on them. Block any ad that has them or is a search engine and your earnings should go up.

I usually have stats like that at the end of the month - good companies has lost their budget before month ended and here comes this crappy ones.

it's probably just temporary - i would not throw in the towel just yet..

Also, on your referrals; the only reason you will get paid less is if your conversions are coming from countries other than the U.S.

myfxreport.com, what kind of money do you talk about here. Is it $10 a day or $1000?

Place your ads at another location.

No not $1000 a day nor $10. It is around 40-60 USD a day. Now, 4-6 a day!

Hope it is temporary, I will wait to see.

No, all my referrals come from US and Canada, because all my referral ads will only appear only to US and Canada IPs.

I'd check what advertisers are showing up. Someone could be targeting your site with a really low CPM campaign... Look for some bottom feeding ads and block them if they don't add much value.

I block ads like shopping.com, ebay, etc. They are all just cheap generic ads that add no value to my user's experience... and they make room for better paying ads... =)

Hmm, thats very odd. Why not wait a week or two and see. You can also ask Google. I doubt that you will get a good answer, but its worth to try.

I have encountered the same thing with Google although not as drastic. Looking back it seems that Google is paying less and less.

Lately I have been implementing other revenue sources in place of Google. The old adage goes, don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Google is paying less and less for me too. I used to earn $250 -$300 per month, now I get $60 while all the stats remain the same :(

The past 7 days, I've seen the same scenario described by the original poster. Same traffic, same ctr, about 75% less ecpm. Pretty strange. The week prior and this week look very similar except for a drastically less ecpm. I just don't see the 3 sites I am advertising on as having had their traffic suddenly change completely.

My earnings cut in half this month. This really stinks. Same traffic, same clicks, half the money.

The current $ included makes it even worser.. The quality of ads gets worser overall.. and 200 channels for the filter is not enough
