[Question] Selling new domain with GoDaddy

Discussion in 'Domain Names' started by kumiko83, Oct 19, 2007.

I have just bought a new domain through GoDaddy and would like to sell it immediately. I understand that there is a 60 day waiting period to transfer registrars but was wondering whether it can be transferred to another GoDaddy account within this period?

Does anybody have experience with this?:)

    thank you

Just use the push option to transfer between GoDaddy users. Ask your buyer to create a new account with GoDaddy and transfer the domains to his account. There are no restrictions when transferring between accounts

I read of the 60 day wait after having transferred a domain from elsewhere to godaddy, so this applies to buying a brand new domain from godaddy too? no selling it on until 60days have passed?

Once registered or transferred anywhere a domain can not be transferred to another registar for 60 days. This is not a GD rule it is icann.
