11 year old authority site, 33,242 Alexa rank, 25 DMOZ listings, 8 Y! listings

If you're looking for an unmonitized site with the merits mentioned in the title, this might be it.

Of course, there's really no way I can disclose the URL of this here in the thread.. since future editing and removing details is not an option. Therefore, interested parties will need to request the URL via PM.

I've owned this for about three weeks now, and just finished moving the main site and couple of dozen subdomains yesterday to a new server, so do not have traffic stats. The previous server was extremely old and had no stats enabled. In addition, since there are so many directories and subdomains involved (and no footer includes), it was difficult for me to install Google analytics on the old server.

I changed DNS yesterday afternoon, and webalizer shows close to 5,000 uniques from the ten or so hours of yesterday. The search engine keywords which brought a good portion of the traffic are over 1,000 unique keyword strings (in less than one day), the main one being the domain name itself minus the extension (very valuable)... Based on this and of course the 33k Alexa rank, true unique visitors daily, should not be under 8,000.

We're talking about stuff which accumulated over the last 11 years. It will definitely take at least 30-50 hours of hard work to revamp this site and get it growing again. Something I will be doing, if this sale's attempt fails.

Right now I'll be considering offers above $60,000 CDN (yes, I don't want any US funds). If you're serious and have confidence in your monetization skills, feel free to request URL. I'll be waiting only 3-5 days to see if this sells. Otherwise, I'll be beginning my imporvements, and may well create a serious sales thread 6 months later with a six figure price tag.

CDN stands for the Canadian dollar which used to be $1.40 per every USD about 2-3 years ago. Now it's worth more than the USD!

It's about $0.97 CDN for each USD currently.

Edit: I think the actual currency code is supposed to be CAD.. anyways, all my future sales will be finalised based on this.

Just a quick clarification. There are no details beyond the URL and what I've mentioned in the opening post. The buyer here needs to be someone who can recognize value based on already varifiable sources such as whois.sc, alexa.com, archive.org and both the dmoz and yahoo directories...

The price is reflecting the lack of stats.. if this attempt fails, I'm more than happy to do all the required improvements, gather proper stats, and then come back six months later with a six figure price tag... I mean the effort in creating this listing was minimal.. if it leads to a sale within my current asking range then I'll be happy with that.. otherwise, no loss. Will motivate me to work hard on improving it myself.

So, the point of that was to say that there are no details being disclosed except for the URL.

For those recieving the URL.. keep in mind that the .com and .org for this domain is also owned by us. The main site has always been on the .net.. the other two are redirecting and will be included in the sale.

I just checked Google Trends to get an idea of popularity. Typing this name, seperating with comma and then digitalpoint.. shows it is roughly five times more searched for than dp!

You can test it with other sites you might think are popular to see where it stands.
