I stumbled on the site www.quantcast.com today. Seems there a web analytics company which shares details about your websites audience. Apart from Alexa I wonder what data they are using.
Hi Dcristo, i realize your post is from quite a while ago. At Quantcast we employ a convergent and holistic model of the Internet. What this means is that we combine panel data, survey data and directly measured traffic data to come up with a highly accurate model of the Internet. From this we can gauge the demos of individual sites.
I just hate quantcast! My link partners/competitors of emo are shown as related results for any related keyword on quantcast even if they haven't added the code while i don't show up anywhere...Care to enlighten me why, Chris?
Hi Mircea, That is interesting that we don't have demographic/siteographic data for your site. We are constantly tweaking our algorithms to provide more accurate profiles. Your site has only been quantified for a few weeks. I would give it a little more time, and I think you will start to see more information in the profile. If not feel free to contact me directly.
