Do i need to put add ror.xml in my sitemaps?

    Hi there,

    1/So i added sitemap.xml in google.com/sitemaps

    Now i have add ror.xml as well but google is saying it has errors. One of the reasons might be the fact that ror.xml has 

    
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="ROR" href="ror.xml" />
    Code (markup):
    and google thinks its a rss feed

    2/Should i add sitemap.xml.gz as well??

    Your advice, please

    ROR is RSS with some more data fields.

    Last time I checked, no major search engine publicly stated support for the ROR extensions. You can read more in this article about sitemaps.

    In my opinion, you should focus on XML sitemaps protocol (i.e. sitemap.xml)
