It seems that corruption has finally arrived to digital point. I was banned for having a second account, that i did not have. No one asked me if this would be true, i just humored my self in another thread about having one. This was not the case... I just find it stupid that mods ban people without questioning them. Another thing is that you cannot see if a person has second account if he uses proxy and in extreme cases changes the MAC address. I could have 10 accounts here in DP and no one would know. I find it disturbing that i got banned without anyone asking me, what was the case.
So you started this thread without knowing that. Isn't that an accusation over the DP system without any grounds?
i think that members who get banned or get their wrists slapped by the mods secretly like it. it gives them kudos. makes them seem bigger and badder than the rest of us.
what more proof do you need than a confession? there are lots of ways to tell if people have more than one account without looking up ip#s.
mac addresses are hard coded onto a network card and aren't even visible (as far as I know) outside of your router or gatway. they cannot be altered externally. if they could; you could very easily make the internet impossible to operate.
He meant modify internally if people were tracking externally. He was mixed up with IP addresses. You are correct that MAC addresses are not displayed externally.
