Smart pricing is old news and talked about on these forums regularly. While everyone appreciates these tips, you really should search the forums before posting.
Wow I actually never thought of that. Its pretty smart for them to do that though, they are maybe too smart lol
In my opinion Google is ripping off publishers with this "smart pricing". We offer a site that an advertiser can advertise on at a fair rate. Yet Google decides to lower that price that the advertiser bids. Its a way for Google to rip off publishers plain and simple. I can promise you that google charges the advertiser the same amount.
google pays a set % of revenue to its publishers. so whatever google charges the adwords advertisers, a set % goes to the publishers. i would not say google is ripping off publishers
