Are there any mods/hacks for rotating advertisements for phpBB? I've searched on phpBB.com but I can't seem to find anything. Maybe I'm using the wrong terms? I would think this is pretty standard...
I use a simpel script to rotate images in my logo but if you'd like to rotate different ads, you might want to try the advanced banner hack that can be found at http://mods.db9.dk But it looks to be offline again so here's a mirror: http://www.twenteracingscene.com/complete_banner_1.3.7em.zip You can add images, javascript, html and flash for the ad.
never tried the mods, but I have written some scripts myself. I added the code in includes/page_header.php and exported the ad html to a template variable you can then put anywhere in your tpl file.
