BUT

This morning I found out information regarding Google's "Test" Datacenters!

64.233.179.99 and 64.233.179.104

IF you perform a regular search you may see some interesting results...

My Tools will not pick this up at this time as they search differently.

On the Test Datacenters the experiment page is in Position #75 and Allinanchor #28

The cache date reported by that Datacenter is Nov 25, 2005 08:49:47 ( I have not previously ever seen THAT cache date)

I have just checked through my daily results and found that a number of Datacenters were reporting similar results back on November 16th and 17th!

for anyone who cares to look...
Google October/November 2005 Event - Jagger

 

What is google testing out here? A rollback of a filter or two? My guess - and it is just that - is that these results will not proprogate as there are too many happy webmasters singing its praises.

 

You may be right on the money!

I just edited my previous post to include that these results look similar to Jagger results back on Nov 16th and 17th.

Very unusual today!

I have seen VERY FEW changes across the board (sites and Datacenters) from yesterday to today.

Most have been like a rollercoaster for weeks.

This could be a calm before a storm or just a Google Holiday.

Yes I also see some changes across the datacenters. Strange indeed - I guess it will never stablize - everflux.

 

I just wish they'd fix all their caching issues. What a mess..

 

I agree. I thought they had actually fixed it for my site, but then I noticed that for some reason, my google.com(akadns), was actually one of the test DCs which has fixed my cache issue. I've never been routed to these test DCs before-- maybe Google just added them to the akadns to get some more real-world testing on them...

I would just like to make known that I have been doing some extensive research behind the scenes and have discovered some very interesting information.

Right now I am testing to see if there is any evidence to support my findings.
