Description: Paid, general web directory, running on paid version of Php Link Directory. Using free but modified template and original logo. Installed paid mod from LinksForever pack. SIte is 11 months old.


Revenue summary: $234 from begining of website


Revenue per month: $50 based on last 2.5 months(see detailed explanation below). We never tried to sell any sitewide links or ads, which are planned in template, so this is additional source of constant income for the new owner.


Revenue details:

1. During fist 6 months or so, website was owned by another owner and he sold some regular and featured links which were $3 and $6 and sold per one year.

2. After I purchased site from him I converted it to free one and kept it that way for 2-3 months so no revenue was made at that time.

3. On July 25th I converted it back to paid with new prices: $3.49 for regular and $19.95 for featured permanent listing. Since that date until today site made $127, which is exactly 50% of complete revenue made in only 2.5 months. which makes average profits of $50 per month.

Promotion: Since we purchased this website, we only did some link building and never did any real promotion since it was planned after getting a custom template. Unfortunately I never got time to create one and I didn't announce this directory on forums or even added link to my sig.

In other words, all profits made are 100% based on current link popularity with no single attempt to increase profits by promotion.


Sidebar links: Two links are required to keep if you continue to use this template by terms of template usage, but you can move them back to footer with no problems. Another two are part of links exchange and only one is part of deal I made before and you agree to keep it for next 5 months. All other links can be removed.
