Another heart warming tale that makes you wonder - what is America doing over there?

It's the Eid al-Fitr holiday that ends the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and Iraqi insurgents showed their love of the Iraqi people by handing out toys for kids - who have been the worst hit by this conflict.

They saw that American Troops were neglecting their duty to protect the innocent Iraqi's and decided to take matters into their own hands. Donations poured in from as far away as Iran to help the little children.

Parents cried as their children got a toy - probably for the first time since the Iraq invasion - and children cheered as they had a chance to enjoy childhood once again.

Then the insurgents, in a fit of joy and ecstasy from the happiness they wrought, blew the children up, killing one adult and 17 civilians, 5 of them children.

You should write fiction. The link to that story had none of your creative embellishments.

But it is a disgusting incident as are all the others.

I doubt that we will see a large, loud, dominant voice in the Islamic world and based in the middle east say.....Don't do that stuff to kids.

It is one more grotesque incident in a grotesque part of the world with grotesque things happening every day.

Missed the point on purpose didn't you?

None of my creative embellishments, Earl. What other reason would insurgents put toys next ao children's playground other than to "hand them out" and maximize damage to innocent kids?

Enlighten me and I'll happily make a new story to fit what you think is more reasonable ;)
