Reading the adsense ts & cs, i noticed this "May not place misleading images alongside individual ads".

Its a bit wooly - do you think this is accepted? (see link)

I think it's against google policy. You should remove the picture

No...i think this is not misleading, it has much space between the picture and the ad, plus there is a line separating those two, which is most importand if you are placing images near your adsense ads.

I have found this article regarding it:

    http://adsense.blogspot.com/2006/12/ad-and-image-placement-policy.html

Apparently placing a line between is not sufficient to stop it being against the conditions, although what they are looking for is images that encourage clicking on the ads. e.g. if you had a list of icons.

I think my image is borderline, so I will probably make some changes to seperate it further. Which is a shame because it really helps click throughs!

Do they consider a tag cloud an image or icon?

I don't think that against adsense TOS.
I think it has enough distance between image with ads. also it only one images.

That's exactly why Google doesn't accept that, because users click on the links thinking they will get a page regarding that image.;)

I think thats ok - but just email them to check.

The picture does not look as if it is part of the ads.

Nice blog by the way - very clean looking - I like it :)
