Yikes, I better download and install Opera. Thanks mcfox. I guess that browser needs the class link colors specified.

I have a great laptop but it's slowed right down lately so I removed a lot of stuff, should have kept Opera!!

 

Hey Mcfox I think you might need to clear your cache. The colors you are displaying look different. I checked it in Opera earlier and I had to do that.

 

Looks much better now. (The cache was empty for your site after a spot of disk maintenance earlier in the week)

The misc images, it just looks like you have not added any yet, I was smoking crack the first time I saw it I reckon.

 

Mmmm crack. Yeah I put that category in there as a catch all, but I guess I'm better at categorizing then I gave myself credit for.

 

black and orange together is quite oppresive. It's a humour site - light hearted. Try using some lighter colours that are associated with fun.

Think of the colours you see at the fun fair /circus.

I'm really liking the colours, except (you knew that was coming) the black strapline. and footer.

It really takes up a lot of page real estate. I think you could get away with moving it to underneath the search box, into its own little box, obviously adjusting the text size, etc. That way, you still convey the same information, people are going to see it anyway since they have to scroll below the fold but it lets you bring up the main table to the reader's vision-line.

Yeah I've been thinking about changing it up. I've got someone working on an image for the top of the site, too.

I had put that content there because I wanted to convey what the site is and for seo content.

I'm going to change it to something like this though

If people laugh at that then that's the audience I'm loooking for.

The friends menu is going to expand, pushing the search box down so where do you think I should be the intro?
