I wanna do a page on a certain subject thats related to my site but have a question.

Would it be better to use sitetitle.mydomain.com or mydomain.com/sitetitle

My domain does well in the serp's right now so which would give it more authority? Thnx

use mydomain.com/sitetitle instead of the subdomains. SE's will view teh subdomains as separate entities, rather than a path within the main url.

Subfolders are made for individual categories within the site, makes it cleaner than subdomains.

It depends on the purpose of the website. If you are creating a blog network for a large organization or school you would want to use sub domains. Other than that then I would recommend using sub folders.

Yep, subdomains are commonly used by the ones who created an account for free and paid hosts.

I would tend to agree with this statement unless you are in a situation where you are setting up a blogs for a large company. In that case I would recommend using sub domains.

subdomains are good if you're just starting the site out for the very first time, and plan to really build it up for many years.

I've always used sub folders they just seem to look better and people are used to seeing them. As far a Seo go's I'd still lean towards the sub folders but thats just me I guess.

mydomain.com/sitetitle is better because subdomains are completely new domains for the search engines.

folders will help you to rank better quickly
