Hi all I have been a stalker of this forum for over 2 years. Infact it was Digital Point that first got me into Google Adsense. Well, to make $1000 a month using Google Adsense is easier than you think. 1. Get hold of Wordpress(free cms blog software) 2. Register a domain that you could add easy subdomains on. For example I registered http://www.onfinance.com.au/ I can add subdomains like www.boat.onfinance.com.au or www.cars.onfinance.com.au etc etc. Get at least 6 subdomains up and on the mother site like http://www.onfinance.com.au/ add a single like the example with a description and a link with your primary keyword as the anchor text(in my case it was boat loans) 3. Now go to www.ezinearticles.com and do a search for articles relating to your websites theme. Start off with 30 articles and add them to your wordpress subdomain. 4. Apply to Google for your own personal adsense account. 5. Add one 350x250 text only ad block to each of your articles. Blend the add to match your page them. No border and blue link text works well. Test, test and then test more. 6. Continue until all six subdomains are completed with 30 articles in each. 7. Come back to Digital Point and add the mother domain to your signature. 8. Reply or post to at least 30 topics. 9. Wait 14 days and then reply or post on digital point again. 10. Every spare minute you have read as many topics as you can about optimising for Google Adsense. If you do all that you are well and trull on your way to earning $1000 a month. The only thing making big money is by getting lots of traffic and you mentioned only one way of that (like posting in DP) I am amazed so for you have only 77 posts and you earned $1000 from the signature link !! or do you have any other traffic sources?
Lighten up guys. Digital Point is only the start. You can get heaps more ideas of how to get traffic and yes traffic is important. However more important is the theme of the site. If you really want to make $1000 a month using Adsense you have to find a niche that has well paid ads. I have purposely chosen finance related site. I also have horse racing and surgery sites that are all doing well. Replicating is what its all about and doing it with wordpress blogs is the system I use. I make much more than $1000 a month from this system. I found a system that worked and just copied it.
I thought about this idea but with a different type of system. I really wanted to test it, but got lazy. Might have to try this one day .
The system is fantastic! However getting a domain name that allows you to have keyword rich subdomains is the hard bit I plan to have the whole system including the plugins and everything I use on my site soon. Yes Joel Drupal works ok, but what I love about wordpress is all the plugins and themes you can use. I dont use anything else.
I know, its important to get a good design of the site and placement of the ads for any website to get better earnings, but its not the toughest part, I can create several sites in a matter of minutes with good wordpress themes and ad placement... I am just asking how did make out of it and whatsup your traffic resources, so for you said only DP traffic, still I wont believe on that by earning $1000 from DP in 2 months. So what are your other traffic resources? Can you tell us or its a secret ?
I have many sources of traffic. Squidoo, Myspace Wiki etc etc Getting traffic is important, but its the network setup that is the important part. Actually the interest in this is great so I might write a free ebook on the subject. Anyone interested? Duplicate content can be the problem.. Ive worked around this and am earning nicely from one domain at the moment , and working in the subdomains idea... Love your thoughts mate , best of luck! If you're looking for a collaborator anytime , happy to help!
No problems at all with duplicate content. And I have my keywords search results ranking very well on Yahoo, Google and MSN.
I have sites with other people's articles (links and author's signature all intact), initially they did ok at page one or two of the search results. But after a few weeks they disappeared, and of course earnings drop. my monthly is about $150. I am trying to push it to $1000. Quite a struggle actually. Just amazed how people can do it so easily.
