If you have a decent coder, takes under 20 hours to break that stuff, and that software is pretty widely used. Newer versions have a better captcha though. It's not that much, but it's a start.
EDIT: Here's a hint.
Split the letters apart. Set anything that is not REALLY dark to white, and anything that is dark (say, above 200,200,200 on the RGB scale) to black. Split the letters apart. The letters will be exactly identical every time, so you can pretty much hash the letters to check.

Wow.... after following through on this google finally grabbed my entire site instead of just the homepage. I only wrote 3 articles and it didn't take much time at all.

 

You should limit the amount of links built each day. When the internet was first built links grew over time....too many today building link act like they are having sex, and blow the whole wad in minutes...take it slow & natural....grind it out.

Use old school directories to submit to.

Use top quality paid directories to submit to.

Submit internal pages or home pages just not all your pages...again slow & natural works best.

Write press releases and use paid and free press release sites.

Write articles.

Post in blogs with quality comments.

Post in forums related to your niche.

Give away interviews.

Give away free tools.

Dont waste time exchanging links.

Write opinion pieces in online newspapers.

Employ the use of social bookmarking.

Don't accept as fact DP thread titles...there are people who try to make a name for themselves by posting hype titled threads... with no substance!!

Google just updated link schemes to include link exchanges...you as a supposed SEO tell others no to listen to Google in this regard??
