short title is better for seo. long titles will change your keyword density and it may also hurt your serp. i prefer having titles under 60 chracters
I think the length of the title should depend on your linking capacity. If you can support the keyphrases you placed into the title tag with links there will be no problem.
Your Title should not be longer than 70 charactors. because longer one is bad for SEO and anyway web browser will show more than 70 chractors max is 90. so stick to 70 chractoers and very important put only 2 or maximum 3 keywords. keyword spamming can lead to ban your site. try to build your title of some meaningfull phrase, avoid just random looking keywords. that's it for title. hope it help you. it don't matter whether the title is long or short. just be sure that the title is specific and has relevance to the site itself.
it depend... because you can make a description after your title..and included with keyword and descriptive about your site...
I was always told use 5-8 words and keep it under 64 characters. This has worked pretty good for me so far.
Keep your title short and meaningful, it should include just 2-3 keywords and reveal the theme of the page.
